Drop a document, get a two-column bilingual draft — the original left, a machine draft right, paired row-by-row. Review and edit it in the browser, then download the Word file.
What you get
Not plain translated text. A two-column .docx in the exact
deliverable shape legal and technical work needs — the source paragraph
beside its draft, on a fixed grid you can mark up in Word. You review
and edit the draft column in the browser before it downloads.
Outline markers (가. 제1조 第1条 ①) are preserved verbatim, so the columns line up 1:1.
Rendered from a real run · markers 가. / 제1조 carried across both columns.
The app
Open the page, drop a .docx, .hwpx, .pdf, .txt, .html, or .md. The source
language is detected from the script; you pick the target. Preview the
first paragraphs, translate the document, then search and edit the paired
rows before downloading the Word file.
.docx, .hwpx, .pdf, .txt, .html, or .md · saved as <name>.en-kr.docxThe Preview button translates the first three substantial paragraphs so you can check the language pair and the tone before running the whole document.
Live progress while it runs: a progress ring, a rolling time estimate, and each finished source/translation row streaming in as it completes.
Search, filter, edit, and revert paired rows in the browser. Mark rows reviewed, then download exactly that draft as the two-column .docx.
Built for working translators
Korean, English, Russian, and Japanese — translate between any pair. Source auto-detected from the document’s script.
Positional labels 가. 제1조 第1条 ① а) are stripped before translation and re-attached verbatim — they pin each source row to its own translation, in any language pair.
Table regions are detected from positional data and rebuilt as real grids on both sides, translated cell-by-cell.
PDF lines are reconstructed into whole paragraphs before translation, so wrapped sentences stay together.
Need only the layout? Generate the two-column shell with an empty translation column — a formatting template, fully offline.
Keep edits in the tab by default, or opt in to a 24-hour recovery copy on this device. It clears after download or when you discard it.
Not a fit: scanned image-only PDFs (run OCR first, then drop the result), documents where images or logos must carry over (text comes through, pictures don't), and stylistic prose like marketing or poetry — the output is a literal draft for a translator to post-edit, always as a two-column .docx.
Keyless & private
Translation runs on a free, built-in engine — no key, no account, no signup. Your document is relayed only to translate, then never stored or logged by DualDraft. The optional temporary recovery copy stays only in this browser and clears after download or discard.
What private means here. Your document is relayed to the engine to translate and never stored or logged by DualDraft. No telemetry, no analytics, no cookies, no accounts. Review edits stay in the open tab unless you explicitly enable a 24-hour recovery copy in your browser. The engine runs inside Cloudflare, so the request transits their network like any website traffic. Skeleton mode never leaves your browser at all — zero network calls.
Live or local
The hosted site and the downloadable file are the same tool. The download is just a copy you own — one HTML file, no dependency on the website.

Two ways to use it
Same languages, same two-column pair file — pick the door that fits the job.
In your browser
Drop a .docx, .hwpx, .pdf, .txt, .html, or .md and get a two-column bilingual draft — structure, numbering, and tables intact — ready to edit in the browser and finish in Word. Keyless, free; DualDraft does not store or log your document (Cloudflare processes it in-flight to translate).
Inside your AI agent
Paste the DualDraft instructions into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar. Your agent translates on your model, builds the two-column .docx (e.g. brief.en-kr.docx), and can prep, review, or QA row by row in chat.
Confidential? Prefer the app — DualDraft does not store or log; Cloudflare still processes text in flight. The AI-agent path runs under your provider’s data policy.
AI agent kit
Same two-column format as the app, but the engine is your model (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, …). Default job: translate a file in chat and return name.kr-en.docx (codes kr/en/ru/jp). Also prep, row-by-row review, and QA. The keyless app stays available for bulk MT — DualDraft does not store or log; Cloudflare processes text in flight.
Open your AI agent — a Claude Project, ChatGPT custom GPT / Project, or Cursor chat. Same instructions work across tools.
Paste the instructions (right) into custom / project instructions, then save. Optional: upload the knowledge files from the full kit on Codeberg.
Work the document — drop a file and say “Translate en→kr”, or “Prep this for DualDraft”, or paste source | translation rows for “Review row by row”.
In short: the block teaches your agent the DualDraft grid, fonts, and markers. Copy it whole — you don’t need to read it; your agent does.
Get started
Drop a file in the app for a keyless draft — or load the kit into your AI agent and translate with your own model. Either way: no DualDraft account.
